What We Do

At Heritage House we recognise that people’s needs vary which is why we work very closely with our Day Visitors and their families to create an individual care plan that will ensure they get the very best from each visit.

Our Day Visitors receive a home cooked, two course meal, prepared onsite by our Catering Manager. They are encouraged to take part in the activities that take place during the day. These range from a game of triominoes or a quiz to singing, painting and, if the weather is nice, time in the garden or the occasional trip out.

We have two bathrooms and a wet room so, should a Day Visitor require a bath or shower during their time with us, our care team are on hand to assist.

Our hairdresser is here each morning for appointments and a chiropodist and therapeutic masseur visit every few weeks. We also have access to a wide range of NHS services.

What our Day Visitors say:
“When I’m here I know I’m in safe hands.”
“I love having a bath and a hot lunch.  The staff are all so friendly.”
“I enjoy the company.  I get lonely without Heritage House.”
“I enjoy meeting friends and getting stuck into games.”
“The food is wonderful.  I always leave an empty plate.”
